Italy, 1860: The year that Augustine Santore assembled his first firework display. He used salvaged pieces that he collected off the ground after the grand firework shows done by Capobianco, Master Fireworker to King Victor Emmanuel II. Santore passionately studied the worn, charred pieces; he reassembled and reconstructed them to create his own display to present to Capobianco. Impressed by his perseverance, Capobianco decided to make Santore his apprentice. Italy was where it all started, but the United States became home to the Santore family in 1890. With his three sons, Santore built and grew the Santore Fireworks Family, which has become one of the most recognized names in fireworks in the United States.
Present Day: Santore has been in business for 125 years. Anthony Santore Jr is the 4th generation member of the Santore Fireworks family and President/CEO of Fireworks by Santore, Inc. The company is based out of Palm Coast, FL and offers professional display services worldwide. Fireworks by Santore produces spectaculars including Daytona Inrternational speedway, Times Square NYE Ball Drop and most of the major theme parks.
